I keep changing my daily routine all
the time. I enjoy experimenting with new products so even if I find something
that works for me I keep looking for the next best thing.
In the mornings I wash my face with a gentle cleanser. Right now I'm using Philosophy Purity Made Simple. After washing my face I mist
with Avene Thermal Spring Water. I started using it after
reading that facialist Isabelle Bellis recommends it to neutralize the
harshness of the tap water you use to cleanse your face, and besides it is packed
with good minerals and it helps with the absorption of other products (serum,
moisturizer etc). Then I apply toner, these days I'm using Santa Maria Novella Aqua di Rose, followed by Cellex-C Serum and Korres Brightening & Line Smoothing Serum for brightening and antioxidants. I'm on my third
bottle of the Korres serum and I love it, it sinks right into my skin
leaving a velvet smooth feel and smells so good. After the serums I apply Lancer Am/Pm Nourishment. This moisturizer makes my skin look amazing.
And last but not least, THE most important of all, sunscreen! I’ve been
using (even on cloudy days) MD Solar Sciences Ultra Mineral Screen Gel SPF 50+ which
unfortunately seems to be discontinued so I'll have to find something new to
replace it. I'll keep you posted on that... it's not easy to find a good sunscreen.
TIP - Applying makeup vs. applying moisturizers/serums etc.: the pores of your face are like shingles on a roof. When applying moisturizer, you should move upward, to get the products up into the pores, but when you’re applying makeup, you should apply it with downward movements, so you don’t clog your pores.
limpiador suave. En este momento estoy usando Philosophy
Purity Made Simple. Luego me rocio con Avene Thermal Spring Water. Empecé a
