I love scarves and I wear them a lot, to the point that if I have to describe my basic look in 5 words it will be “scarves, statement necklaces, ballerinas, and skinnies”. So, I had to visit the new pop-up store that Hermès opened in The Shops at Columbus Circle, "The Silk Bar". The store is designed as a classic American diner where you can find the famous scarves and other accessories, including the new Maxi Twilly introduced last week.
This pop-up store was launched in conjunction with the brand’s first app, Hermès Silk Knots (available for iPhone and Ipad). The app uses videos and knotting cards to show you different ways to tie your scarves and it’s free, you will only have to get the required materials (a new Hermès scarf) which, in this case, is totally justified :)
The “Silk Bar” will run through October 31st.
